We organize one summer and one winter festival over the course of the year. These are now on a pay what you can scale; 100% of payments received go directly to local youth nonprofits. Strings Summer Festival 2025

Our second Strings Summer Festival was a blast! We performed in chamber and orchestral ensembles and also engaged in other fun activities—spending time with nature, drawing inspirations from A Seed and a String, karaoke, and playing basketball. All proceeds from camp ($2050) were donated to Friends of the Children, an organization fostering one-on-one mentorship between youth facing obstacles and adult mentors.

Holiday Charity Event: Winter Strings Festival 2024

This winter, we started off the holiday season with a one-day festival at the Wedgwood Presbyterian Church playing festive orchestral music! We started with a workshop consisting of sectionals and full rehearsal then held a short showcase for the families. All payments went towards our charity event: raising money for youth homelessness in Seattle through Youthcare. We were very grateful to all the families that contributed to this cause, helping us raise $1200! We hope that everyone will join us again for this event next year.

Strings Summer Festival 2024

August 12, 13, 14 2024

Summer of 2024 we had a festival at the Wedgewood Presbyterian Church working on Chamber and Orchestral Music. Over the course of three days, we also covered fundamental basics, masterclasses and mock performances. At the end of the festival, we had our showcase performance displaying our wonderful chamber groups and full orchestra. We are planning to do this again next summer and hope you will join!
